This bike turned out to be such a fun project! Our customer wanted to build up this bike with as many Keirin Racing approved components as we could, but also make it a viable commuter bike with a hand brake. With this being a track bike, it lacks brake mounts and we didn’t want to have to drill any holes in the frame. So we did some research and tracked down a novel brake adapter that allowed us to install a caliper brake on the frame without having to drill any holes! To top it off, we installed some house built wheels with snazzy Dura Ace track hubs, and a Brooks Cabium saddle. Needless to say, this bike turned out super cool!
